His work is on the gap between a drawing set and the registers an engineering team actually issues from it. A P&ID carries the instrument tags, the valves, the equipment and the line numbers a project runs on, and on most brownfield jobs that information is re-keyed by hand into an instrument index, an I/O list and a line list, one sheet at a time. Tagsight reads the drawings and builds those registers instead.

He works with instrumentation and controls teams, EPC engineers and owner-operators on how that handover is produced and checked: what an engineer has to verify before a register is issued, and what a project needs back in the formats its own systems already run on.
