Does it handle scanned SAMA charts?
Yes. Scanned and digital SAMA charts are both supported. You review and confirm the rows before export.
How are input and output signals extracted?
Each block's input and output signal connections are traced from the arrows on the chart. Multiple inputs are listed as a comma-separated set in the input signals column.
What block types are recognised?
Measurement, control, computing, final element, and manual loader blocks are each detected and placed in the block type column.
Is tuning information preserved?
Tuning notes annotated on the chart, such as gain, reset, and rate values, are extracted into a dedicated notes field per block.
How are linked instruments identified?
Instrument tags that appear adjacent to or inside a block are captured in the linked instruments column and cross-referenced against the I/O list when one is uploaded alongside.
