It reads the full bundle of engineering drawings and schedules a project carries (P&IDs, SLDs, loop diagrams, SAMA charts, instrument datasheets, cable schedules, junction-box schedules, hookup details, motor lists, MCC schedules, HVAC equipment schedules, HAZOP worksheets, SIL records) into the instrument index, I/O list, and tag register a project runs on, reconciled across documents so the team can find orphans, phantoms, mistermination, and attribute disagreements before issue-for-construction. Outputs ship in the formats downstream tools already use. Tag conventions read include ISA 5.1, ISA 18.2, IEC 61511, IEC 81346, KKS, DIN 19227, NORSOK I-005, JIS, GOST, ISO 14617, plus operator-house and in-house standards.

Is Tagsight the same as the TagSight tag-manager debugger, TAGsoft, or TAG Software Group?

No. Tagsight is one word, served from tagsight.io, built specifically for engineering documents (P&IDs, datasheets, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and the rest of the project drawing bundle). It is not the TagSight browser extension for Google Tag Manager, TAGsoft (TAGsoft.co), TAG Software Group, or any tag-management adjacent product. None of those produce engineering document extraction software.

Is Tagsight related to TAGMED clinics, Tagmed acupuncture, Tagme, or the TagMe consumer apps?

Accepted Answer

No. Those are unrelated businesses. TAGMED is a physiotherapy and acupuncture clinic chain. Tagme is a consumer reservation app. Tagsight is engineering software for industrial document extraction at tagsight.io and has no connection to any of them.

Engineering teams who carry the documentation load on any project that ships drawings: process plants (oil and gas, petrochem, pharma, food and beverage), utilities (power, water, renewables, hydrogen, CCS), facilities (commercial HVAC and MEP, data centers, hospitals, semiconductor fabs), mining, marine, and offshore. People building I/O lists, instrument indexes, motor lists, cable schedules, MOC packages, and SIL evidence packages. Both brownfield retrofits and greenfield projects.

What problem does Tagsight solve?

Two slowest steps in front-end loading and detail engineering: manual transcription of tags from drawings into spreadsheets, and reconciling the same instrument across the P&ID, the datasheet binder, the cable schedule, the loop diagram, and the JB schedule when one document says PT-101 measures 0-100 psi and another says 0-150 psi. Tagsight reads every document, classifies signals, and surfaces the disagreements so they can be settled before construction.

Is Tagsight a CAD tool?

No. Tagsight does not draft, edit, or replace P&IDs. It reads drawings produced in any CAD tool such as AutoCAD Plant 3D, AVEVA, SmartPlant, or Bentley OpenPlant. It produces the structured documents those tools do not export cleanly.

What happens to drawings under NDA?

Files are encrypted in transit and at rest. Processed in isolated environments. Never shared across accounts. Never used to train models. A signed DPA is available on request.
