Upload issues
"File too large"
- Maximum file size is 250 MB. Split your PDF into smaller batches using a PDF splitter tool.
"Too many pages"
- Maximum is 200 pages per upload. Split into multiple uploads.
"Unsupported format"
- Supported formats. PDF, PNG, JPG, and TIFF. DWG and other CAD-native formats must be exported to PDF first.
Processing issues
Processing is taking a long time
- Most pages process in a few minutes. Large uploads, 50 plus pages and densely-annotated P&IDs take proportionally longer.
"Processing failed"
- Nothing is deducted from your drawing quota when processing fails.
- Try re-uploading the file. If it fails again, the PDF may be corrupted or password-protected.
- Contact support if the issue persists.
Low accuracy, many missing instruments
- Check your PDF quality, 200 plus DPI recommended for scans. Below 150 DPI severely degrades results.
- Vector PDFs, exported from CAD work significantly better than scanned images.
- Non-standard instrument symbols may not extract reliably.
- Dense annotations or markups overlapping instrument bubbles reduce accuracy.
Export issues
Excel file won't open
- Ensure you have Excel 2010 or later, or use Google Sheets, LibreOffice Calc.
- Try downloading again. The file may have been corrupted during download.
Missing instruments in export
- The export includes all instruments shown in the review interface.
- Check if instruments were accidentally deleted during review.
