How the billing works.

Pay-as-you-go is a one-time purchase; the drawings stay on your account until you use them, with no renewal and no card on file. Subscriptions bill monthly or annually; upgrades prorate instantly and downgrades apply at the next renewal. Past a monthly allowance, work continues at the same per-drawing rate, billed at month-end.

When is a drawing charged?

At first export. Uploading, extraction, and review do not consume a drawing; you see the full result on your own files before anything is charged. A drawing is consumed the first time you export it, and every export format for that drawing is included from then on.

Do pay-as-you-go drawings expire?

No. A pay-as-you-go purchase is one-time: the drawings stay on your account until you use them, there is no subscription behind it, and no card stays on file. Supporting documents and Tagsight Intelligence are included while you hold credits.

What counts toward my monthly limit?

Engineering drawings count against the limit: P&IDs, SAMA logic diagrams, loop diagrams, single-line drawings, and cause-effect matrices. Each page of a multi-page drawing set is one drawing. Supporting documents (datasheets, instrument indexes, cable schedules, JB schedules, and general tables) are unlimited on every paid plan and do not count toward the monthly limit.

What counts as one drawing?

One page of a P&ID, SAMA logic diagram, loop diagram, single-line drawing, or cause-effect matrix. A 50-page P&ID set bills as 50 drawings. A 12-page datasheet bills as 0 because supporting documents are unlimited on every paid plan.

What's included on every plan?

Unlimited supporting documents. Datasheets, instrument indexes, cable schedules, JB schedules, and tabular engineering documents are extracted at no additional cost and do not count toward your monthly drawing limit. Upload your full document library so the Intelligence layer can answer questions against everything you have for the plant, not just the drawings you ran extractions on. Revision comparison, API access, MCP server, and webhooks are also included on every paid plan.

What if I hit the monthly cap?

You can keep submitting drawings beyond the monthly limit at the same per-drawing rate. The overage is tallied and billed at month-end. There is no rate hike, no penalty, and no service interruption. If you regularly exceed your cap, upgrading to the next plan lowers the per-drawing cost.

Are my drawings used to train models?

No. Your files stay isolated to your account, are never shared across customers, and are never used to train or improve any model. Signed DPA on request.

Can I switch plans mid-cycle?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and the remaining days on your current plan are prorated against the new price. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No fee applies to either direction, and no contract term extends when you upgrade.

Can I validate the extraction on my drawings before subscribing?

Yes. New accounts receive a small starting allowance after email verification so you can run the extraction on your own files and confirm it lands the deliverables you need. The starting allowance includes up to 5 supporting documents so you can also try the Intelligence layer on a representative slice of your library before committing to a plan.
