Quick start
- Sign up at tagsight.io and verify your email.
- Upload a drawing. Drop a PDF, PNG, JPG or TIFF onto the home screen, up to 99 MB and 200 pages per upload.
- Wait for the read. Each drawing shows its progress page by page, and you get an email when it is ready.
- Review. Confirm or correct each item against the sheet.
- Export the I/O list to Excel or to the format your control system imports.
What you get
- Instruments, with tag, description and signal class (AI, AO, DI, DO)
- Equipment shown on the drawing
- Lines, with size and spec where the sheet prints them
- Valves, in their own register
Tips for best results
- Upload the PDF your CAD system exported when you have one. See supported files and limits.
- Scan at 300 DPI or higher if you only have paper drawings.
Drawing capacity
Each engineering drawing (P&ID, SAMA logic sheet, loop diagram, single-line diagram, cause and effect matrix) counts once against the drawing capacity of your plan, the first time you export it. Supporting documents (datasheets, instrument indexes, cable schedules, JB schedules and general tables) are included with every plan.
