What you get
For each P&ID page, Tagsight extracts.
- Instrument tags, tag numbers, signal classification, AI, AO, DI, DO per ISA 5.1, descriptions, confidence scores
- Equipment tags, pumps, vessels, tanks, exchangers, and other equipment identified on the drawing
- Line numbers, pipe line numbers with nominal size and spec code
- Connected equipment, which equipment each instrument is monitoring or controlling
- Valve details, valve type, fail position, and actuator type for valve instruments
Tips for best results
- Vector PDFs produce better results than scanned images
- High resolution scans, 200 plus DPI improve accuracy on scanned drawings
- Standard ISA 5.1 instrument bubbles produce the most reliable results
- Each engineering drawing in your PDF counts once toward your monthly drawing quota, P&ID, SAMA, loop diagram, single-line drawing. Supporting documents, datasheets, instrument indexes, cable schedules, JB schedules, cause-effect matrices, equipment specs and tabular extractions are included on every plan
