What you get.
One workbook laid out the way the Smart Instrumentation Import Utility reads a source file: an Index table with one row per instrument, a Loops table, an Instrument_Types table and a PID_Drawings table, each under its own named range, every cell stored as text, and column names with no spaces. A README sheet carries the load notes and an EXCLUDED sheet lists every row that was not written and why, so the count you load reconciles against the register you reviewed.

Common questions
Why a workbook and not a plain spreadsheet?
The Import Utility does not read a spreadsheet as such. It links to an Excel file through a named range, reads one header row followed by data, and maps each source column to a target field. The package is built to that contract: a unique named range per table, text-formatted cells, and column names without spaces, which are the three things that quietly break an import when they are missing.
Does the loop name come filled in?
The loop number is written exactly as the drawing prints it. The loop name follows the naming convention defined in your import link, which builds it from the tag number the way your domain expects, so it is left for the link to fill. Nothing in the file is composed from the letters of a tag.
What happens to instrument types my domain does not have yet?
The Instrument_Types sheet lists every type in the load with a count and, where the drawing printed a legend line for it, the description. A type that is not in the domain table is rejected by the utility, so add the missing ones there first, or fill the description column once and import the sheet as a table.
Can I load a whole drawing set at once?
Yes. Downloaded from the workspace, the Index holds every instrument across every reviewed drawing, with the drawing number on each row and a Drawings column on every loop, which is how a unit is loaded in practice. A tag that appears on more than one drawing is written once and the second occurrence is listed on EXCLUDED with the sheet it was first taken from.
Are hand valves and local gauges included?
A local gauge or indicator with no signal is an instrument index record and is included, with the I/O type left empty. A valve the drawing shows as hand-operated is not an instrument record; it is written on EXCLUDED with that reason and belongs to the valve list.
