Tagsight for asset integrity engineers
The drawings on file at the plant do not match the plant. Half were marked up in pencil during the last turnaround, the other half were never updated after the 2017 retrofit. You are supposed to populate Maximo, run inspection programs, and answer the regulator using documents that drifted away from reality a decade ago.
Read one of your own drawings.
Drop a P&ID, instrument index, or schedule. Tagsight reads it to the tag and opens a workspace you keep when you sign in.

What you do today.
- Walk the unit, mark up the drawing pack with field corrections in red pen
- Hand the redlines to drafting, wait six weeks for the as-found revision
- Re-key tag and equipment data into the EAM by hand, miss things
- Open an inspection workpack against records you only half trust
What changes with Tagsight.
- Scan the legacy drawing pack, get a structured tag and equipment list out the same day
- Diff the as-found set against the official record, surface the drift in a single report
- Export equipment, line, and instrument lists in the column shape your CMMS or EAM expects
- Re-run the workflow each turnaround so the master record stops decaying year over year
Where it fits in your week.
EAM master-data refresh
Maximo is supposed to hold every relief valve in the plant. The reality is somewhere between the controlled drawing register, the field, and a spreadsheet a contractor mailed in 2019. Run the current drawing pack, compare to the EAM export, push the deltas into the change queue.
Inspection scope baseline
Your RBI program is scoped against equipment and lines that should be on the P&IDs. Tagsight produces an authoritative equipment plus line list off the latest drawings so the inspection scope is grounded in something more recent than the last as-built campaign.
Regulator response
Regulator asks for a full instrument census on a pressure system. You have ten days. Run the relevant drawing set, filter to the system tag prefixes, hand back a clean list with page references on every line.
FAQ.
We use Maximo. Will the export load cleanly.
Excel exports map to the column shapes most CMMS and EAM systems expect for instrument and equipment master data. For non-standard column maps, the API and MCP server let you reshape the output before load. Field-level mapping decisions stay yours.
What about scanned drawings from the 90s.
Tagsight is built to read scanned, faded, and CAD-exported PDFs. Quality of extraction tracks the legibility of the source. Anything uncertain is yours to confirm in the canvas rather than guessed at.
