What is an EMSR-Stellenliste and how does it differ from an I/O list?

An EMSR-Stellenliste is the measurement-and-control point list used by German-speaking process and chemical teams (EMSR = Elektro-, Mess-, Steuer- und Regelungstechnik): every EMSR-Stelle on the plant, with its Signalart. It is the same engineering artifact an I/O list is on an English-language project. The vocabulary differs by region; the content, one row per Stelle with its signal class, is the same.

Does Tagsight read DIN-coded EMSR drawings, not just ISA 5.1?

Yes. German R&I-Schemas follow DIN 19227 and DIN EN 62424 (PCE) function codes such as TIR, FIC, and LSA+ whose letter combinations ISA-only tools reject outright. Tagsight reads the EMSR-Stelle as the drawing prints it and keeps that original code on the Stellenliste, so the list still matches the cabinet and the R&I-Schema.

What documents can I upload?

The Stellenliste keeps the EMSR function codes and the Bezeichnung exactly as printed on the drawing. Nothing is rewritten into ISA form. The Signalart (AE, AA, DE, DA) is added as its own column so the controls team can size the controller without re-reading every sheet.

Can I export the Stellenliste to a controls platform?

The Stellenliste exports as an Excel or CSV list. When the plant runs on a Siemens or Rockwell controller, it also exports as a TIA Portal XML or Studio 5000 L5X tag table, with the Signalart carried into the export so the engineer imports one file.

How is a revision handled when the plant changes?

Once the drawings are in a workspace, a later revision runs against the baseline Stellenliste. The comparison returns an Excel Change Report with the added, removed, and modified Stellen, so a retrofit or an added measuring point is a delta, not a full re-read.
