Reference designations, read whole onto the signal list.
IEC 81346 aspect-structured drawings, read into a signal list with the I/O class on every device. The =+- designations ISA-only tools cannot parse, kept exactly as the drawing prints them and ready for your controls platform.
Every aspect comes through unchanged.
An ISA-only reader cannot parse the =+- structure, and a short tag throws away the location and function aspects. Tagsight keeps the full designation, function, location, and product together, exactly as the drawing prints it, and adds the I/O class beside it, so the signal list still matches the cabinet and the sheet.
How a signal list runs through Tagsight.
- 01
Upload the designated set.
Drag the P&IDs, circuit and function diagrams, location drawings, and existing signal lists into a workspace. PDF, scanned, or image. Vector PDFs read fastest; scans are read at high resolution and uncertain devices you review before export.
- 02
Review the devices.
Each device appears on the review canvas with its symbol shown on the source drawing. The full =+- designation is kept; the I/O class is shown for you to confirm or correct. Every edit is logged against the device it changed.
- 03
Export the signal list.
Export the signal list as Excel or CSV, or as a TIA Portal XML or Studio 5000 L5X tag table when the controller is known. The controls team imports the file directly on their workstation.
